FIRST SHOTS: Family with A Girl and A Gun Chapter | Southern Charm Firearms Academy

Introducing our inaugural First Shots for the Family event! This family-friendly event is for anyone wanting to learn about firearms and/or introduce their children to them in a fun, safe environment. The event starts out with a presentation on shooting range safety. You just have to reserve your spots and show up!

Firearms, ammunition, eye and hearing protection are all provided! This event is sponsored by the NSSF, National Sports Shooting Foundation, and the Bastrop chapter of A Girl & A Gun. Come begin a lifetime of enjoyment with your family in the shooting sports. Cancellation Policy: If a student is unable to attend their class, we will happily reschedule you for the next available class or another class of their choice.

What We'll Teach: Firearms Safety Rules and Shooting Fundamentals. No matter what type of gun or what kind of shooting activity is involved, it is imperative that participants follow the universal firearms safety rules.

This lesson covers those basics in a fun, easy-to-remember fashion so kids will be able to learn, remember, and apply the rules. Additional Notes from Your Instructor: This event takes place at a private range. You will receive the address via email after registration.

You are registering and paying for a 3-hour time slot; 10am-1pm or 1-4pm. Cost is $20/person.
